Our Chef has over 27 years of experience extending from TAJ Group in India, various locations in Europe and finallly to Hyatt in Chicago, Irvine, Newport Beach, and Los Angeles. Rainbow Lagoon

Hyatt Regency Long Beach offers ceremonies at the lovely Rainbow Lagoon, surrounded by palm trees and a beautiful water view. The Rainbow Lagoon has the capacity to seat up to 500 guests for your ceremony. You and your beloved can bring your dream wedding to life. You can even arrive at your ceremony in style, as an elegant gondola glides across the lovely Lagoon.

Regency Ballroom

This gracious ballroom, the largest of our banquet facilities at 10,000 square feet, has soaring 16-foot ceilings and recessed chandeliers with thousands of twinkling lights. This spacious area can easily accommodate even the largest wedding guest list, with capacity to seat over 900 for dinner. Couple your event with the adjoining Regency Foyer, with its wall of windows overlooking the beautiful harbor, to host your cocktail reception.

Beacon Ballroom

You will enjoy a magnificent view with the Queen Mary and Pacific Ocean as your backdrop. Let the daytime sun or evening stars shine on your celebration through the 100 feet of floor to ceiling windows. The Beacon Ballroom accommodates over 300 guests for a banquet or over 700 for a reception.

Seaview Ballroom

This ballroom definitely takes advantage of the first floor location with a soaring 4-story atrium with views of the hotel pool and Rainbow Lagoon. The Seaview Ballroom and Rotunda will accommodate up to 200 people for dinner and 500 for a reception.

Ceremony Information
Our outdoor site is located on hotel private property. Please note that the surrounding areas are public space. The public space may be scheduled by the City of Long Beach for local festivities. Please check the City of Long Beach website, Upcoming Events page for further details at ww.longbeach.gov

Coordinator

The hotel requires that you hire or appoint someone who will act as your coordinator during your event. Please provide your Event Sales Manager with the name of your coordinator 30 days prior to your event.

Confirmation of Space & Deposits
A 25% (non-refundable) deposit and signed contract are required at the time of booking. Please keep in mind, your deposit does not apply towards final payment. Instead, it acts as a reserve for any additional items which may be ordered the night of your wedding. Any unused portion of your deposit will be refunded after the event.

Final Payment

Your final payment is due fourteen days prior to your Wedding. Payments can be made by personal check, credit card, or money order. Personal check payments are not accepted within 14 days of the event. Final payment for any expected overage is due 72 hours prior to your event.

Decorations

Please keep your Event Sales Manager informed of your decoration plans, as they need to meet the Long Beach Fire Department safety regulations. Arrangements for additional setup time must be coordinated in advance with your Event Sales Manager.

Guarantee
Our professional banquet staff will provide you with the finest service. However, we also need your assistance to make your event a success. Please confirm the number of guests attending by 11:00am three working days prior to your event. This number will be a guarantee that may not be reduced after that date. If the Events Office is not notified, the expected attendance will become the guarantee. Function rooms are assigned by the number of guests anticipated as well as the revenue minimum. We will be prepared to serve 3% over the guaranteed number.

Security
Hyatt Regency Long Beach will not assume responsibility for the damage/loss of any merchandise or articles left on the premises prior to or following your ceremony or reception. Should you wish to hire security services, suggestions are available through your wedding specialist. Please ensure someone from your wedding party secures any gifts left at your wedding. The hotel will not be responsible for gift removal. This includes all vendor equipment on property.
